- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I brought my three year old daughter here for an appointment and I was very disappointed with how we were treated. We were here for almost 4 hours--it took 2 hours to be seen--1 hour to do the eye exam and we had to wait for an hour after the exam. Dr. Goei was rude, unprofessional and she didn't seem to want to address any of the questions I had about my daughter's vision problems. I'm still not certain my daughter received the correct prescription because MONTHS after receiving her eyeglasses she still complains she can't see with her glasses on. Additionally, when I called to schedule the appointment they told me they didn't take Eye Med and I would need to file my claim with my Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance. I had to send in a copy of my insurance card prior to them scheduling the appointment because I was told they would confirm my insurance would accept the claim. They gave me a call back and assured me that Blue Cross Blue Shield would accept the claim and I made the appointment. A few months after the appointment I received a bill from AU Health indicating the claim had been denied because Blue Cross Blue Shield did not cover the vision services. My daughter's next eye exam will definitely be with another doctor's office.November 04, 2017by Ashanti Lilley
